New Data Skills Course Launches for Health & Safety Professionals

New Data Skills Course Launches for Health & Safety Professionals

RRC Customer Advisory Team · 30/09/2025 · Leave a Comment

We are excited to announce that our Data Skills for Health & Safety online course is now available. This unique course is designed to equip health and safety professionals with the tools they need to harness data-driven insights and enhance workplace safety.

Launched today (30th September 2025), the first of its kind online course is aimed at both new and experienced H&S professionals looking to better understand and leverage data, use data to communicate H&S concepts, and influence purposeful change in organisations.

The 18-hour course and assessment will cover five modules:

  • Module 1 – Understanding Safety Data Fundamentals
  • Module 2 – Basic Data Organisation & Interpretation
  • Module 3 – Visual Interpretation of Safety Data
  • Module 4 – Creating Basic Safety Data Visualisations
  • Module 5 – Applied Safety Data Analysis

Richard Stockley, Managing Director of RRC International, says, “With more data available to us than ever before, H&S professionals failing to use it are really missing a trick. The challenge for most, of course, is knowing where to even begin, especially if you’re not used to working with big data in your role.

“This is why we decided to create our latest course. While there are many data skills courses out there, none of them are tailored to the types of information available those working in health and safety. This is why we’ve designed this course to give H&S professionals everything they need to begin making more informed decisions in their organisations and better influence change for the better!”
