RRC joined NEBOSH at their annual Graduation day to celebrate their Diploma graduates – including Product Liaison Claire Stockley, and DN1 Best Candidate winner Katherine Barnwell.
One of the highlights of the calendar, the NEBOSH Graduation once again provided an excellent day of celebration with all of the wonderful graduates. Everyone from the RRC team was delighted to congratulate our 137 graduates in person. Not only do we get to share in the celebrations with our students, it gives us a vital opportunity to hear from our learners and their experience studying with us. It is particularly gratifying to hear stories of specific RRC team members who went above and beyond to support our students; from our wonderful tutors to our incredible support teams.
Celebrating success of staff and students alike
One graduate in particular was a highlight for the RRC team in attendance — RRC’s Product Liaison Claire Stockley walked the stage after receiving a Credit in her NEBOSH National Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Professionals. It was wonderful not only to see her hard work paying off, but also to be able to congratulate her in person on this achievement. Reflecting on the day, she said:
“Despite being a bit nervous before the ceremony it was lovely to be there with my family celebrating my achievements. The weather was glorious and there was such a warm feeling at the reception afterwards. Having the opportunity to meet with both tutors and staff from RRC gave such a sense of their pride in my accomplishments and really made all my hard work worthwhile. The Diploma was a long undertaking and this was a wonderful chance to reflect on how far I’ve come.”
Highlighting the achievement of our Best Candidate Winner
We were also delighted to celebrate with DN1 Best Candidate winner Katherine Barnwell.
“The 2025 NEBOSH Graduation was a brilliant day full of celebrations. It was a great opportunity to catch up with old course mates and also network with other OSH professionals. I feel both proud and grateful to receive the DN1 Best Candidate award – this would not have been possible without the great tutoring, resources and support from RRC International.”
We were also proud to sponsor the Best Candidate award for the National General Certificate, presented by RRC’s Director of Learning Products and Innovation Nick Fernando. RRC’s Managing Director Richard Stockley was also in attendance, but this year in a personal capacity to support and celebrate Claire. He was very impressed with the organisation and experience of the day from the perspective of the graduates and attendees:
“Attending the NEBOSH Graduation is always a highlight of the year, but it was wonderful to attend this year to celebrate Claire’s wonderful achievement with our family and the other graduates. The organisation was fantastic and made the entire experience even more enjoyable.”
RRC Tutors enjoy the opportunity to celebrate their students in person
Joining the RRC team were RRC tutors Zoe Neasham and Dr Jonathan Backhouse, who are key in supporting RRC Diploma students both in person and through our online tutor support. RRC Lead Tutor Zoe Neasham expressed her delight at once again attending:
“Graduation is always the highlight of my year, I love it! Not only do I get to congratulate my students, but I also get to meet my live online students in person. It’s fantastic to celebrate all of their hard work with their nearest and dearest and I always feel honoured to attend.”
These sentiments were echoed by Jonathan:
“The highlight of my NEBOSH teaching experience is undoubtedly attending the graduation ceremony. I am grateful to RRC for providing me with this wonderful opportunity to meet my students face-to-face, share in their joy and accomplishments, and be part of their celebrations.
“It is a moment of pride and fulfilment to see the hard work and dedication they have put into their studies pay off. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and emotion, as family and friends gathered to support the graduates. It was a memorable occasion that reminded me of the impact I can have on my students’ lives and the importance of education in shaping their futures. To quote, Dr Manal Azzi, who received her honorary NEBOSH Diploma, “Graduation marks the end of study, but also the entry into the world as agents of change. You now carry the responsibility of protecting their lives…ensuring workers [return] home safe and healthy.”
As I reflect on her words, I am reminded that every graduation is not just an ending but the beginning of a new chapter where knowledge, commitment, and passion can truly make a difference in shaping safer, healthier futures.”
Congratulations once again to all of our graduates. You can find more information about the NEBOSH Diplomas here.
