Last week Gary Fallaize (Managing Director RRC International) and David Towlson (Director of Training and Quality)Â had the pleasure of attending the Nebosh Graduation ceremony for Health and Safety, and Environmental Diploma students. Â This was held at the University of Warwick on Monday the 23rd June.
Over 200 students were in attendance, and the truly international event was shown by the number of Diploma students who had travelled from countries such as Egypt, India, Nigeria, Oman, Qatar, UAE and from throughout the United Kingdom to attend the event, and surrounded by their family and friends.
Health and Safety Executive Chair, Judith Hackitt CBE was the Guest of Honour at the ceremony, and also presented additional awards to the students who excelled in their NEBOSH Certificate and Diploma exams last year.
RRC International was thrilled that one of their students, Dr Paul Cassell, received the David Morris Award for the Best Candidate in the NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, an amazing achievement. Â RRC was also fortunate to sponsor the award for the Best Candidate in the NEBOSH International Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety, which was presented to Dr Wendy Ross.
“After all the pain many students go through to achieve their Diplomas, it is fantastic to see them getting the recognition they deserve in the presence of their family and friends” says Gary Fallaize, “and it is an annual event both David and myself wouldn’t miss”.
