On-Demand Revision Workshops for NEBOSH General Certificates have Launched

On-Demand Revision Workshops for NEBOSH General Certificates have Launched

Richard Stockley · 17/12/2024 ·

We are excited to announce the launch of our new on-demand version of the popular revision workshops for the NEBOSH National General Certificate and NEBOSH International General Certificate assessments. Available now, this new flexible format allows students to study at their own pace, focusing on exam technique and assessment strategy.

Led by our experienced tutor, Kevin Coley, the on-demand NEBOSH sessions bring the classroom experience online. RRC staff act as typical students, creating relatable scenarios and challenges that participants might encounter during their study.

For each activity, all handouts are available in a “Today’s Resources” folder, encouraging students to follow along and work through each activity independently at their own pace. This setup allows students to pause the video at key points and build their skills progressively before moving to the next section.

The workshop is divided into two main units. Unit 1 covers preparation for the open book exam, covering revision techniques and approaches for answering different question types. Unit 2 provides guidance on the practical assessment, including common mistakes to avoid and a case study demonstration of the assessment process step-by-step.

“These new workshops are a great addition to our revision offering. They bring together the best of the Live Online Revision Workshop sessions in a way that is accessible to everyone regardless of their location and time available. The sessions offer the flexibility to pause the videos and come back to it as often as is necessary, meaning they can fit around even the busiest of schedules,” states RRC Managing Director Richard Stockley.

This workshop is suitable for anyone planning to sit the NEBOSH National General Certificate or NEBOSH International General Certificate Assessments, including RRC learners and external candidates. It is particularly beneficial for those who prefer an independent study format, whether attempting the assessment for the first time or looking to improve their approach.

Sessions last 2-2.5 hours and provide a condensed version of the live workshops that maintains focus on key course content.
